Unplugged Courtyard

A couple of days ago, my dad was invited to review Unplugged Courtyard in Connaught Place. He took me, my sister and my mother with him to the restaurant. We took a cab to reach there. We reached in 45 minutes.

We entered and right beside the entrance inside the restaurant, there was our table.

We sat down and got cold drinks, then we had a veg platter, which had Afghani Brocoli, Paneer tikka, Soya Malai tikka and Vegetable seekh.

Then came the non-veg platter. It had Mutton Seekh, Amritsari Fish and Chicken Tikka. As I don’t eat mutton and fish I only had the chicken tikka.

Then we also got Ganna chicken and Dynamite Prawns. Ganna chicken was juicy chicken wrapped on a sugarcane stick. We could also chew the sugarcane for juice if we wanted to. Dynamite prawns were prawns covered in cheesy Yellow sauce and covered with sesame, but as I don’t like prawns, I skipped it.

Then we also had Potato croquet, with White cheese sauce, we also shifted our seat to the backyard as the air was warm and soothing and also as there had to be a party at the place we were sitting at.

We then had main course, there was Masala chicken, Baingan ka Bharta, the classic Dal makhani, Veg Biryani and a platter of breads. I had biryani, dal and naan.

We then ate the desserts. First there was a cart with a tray on top which had two big bowls full of liquid nitrogen and covered with a thick foil-like substance. There were also three different types of sauces on the tray, Chocolate, Kiwi and strawberry. They poured some of each sauce onto the bowls and it froze making a lollipop, it was very tasty and creative too. We had Banana cake with Rum and banana jam after it, it was tasty but kind of dry. We then had Brownie ke Pakore. It was balls of chocolate brownie put in a gramflour batter and then deep fried and served with a lot of whipped cream. It was also tasty.

Overall the experience was super awesome, and if I could rate the restaurant, I would surely give it at least 4.5 out of 5.
