This Saturday, my parents told me that we were going to go to a kid’s carnival later in the evening but due to some urgent work they had to do, we couldn’t go. I and my sister Gurbani were disheartened
Then on Sunday our parents told that we were going to the carnival Kids Culinaire on that day. We were excited again. We reached there by 4:00 p.m. It was held at PSOI Club, New Delhi.
We bought the tickets and entered. I and Gurbani also got a small passbook each in which there were different activities and a column with the game’s names written on it. We would get 1 star for completing 1 game in the game center. If we got all the 6 stars we could redeem a gift from the Treasure Island.

When we entered, straight ahead of us was a small stage with KIDS written in big blocks. Ahead of that was a small barn with a cow and 2 goats in it. We first went into the potter’s wheel in the game center. Gurbani made a small pot with her name written on it with a twig.

We left it there to dry and then we went to buried treasure in which there were many vegetables buried in a large sand pit. We had to find three of the vegatables to get a star. I and Gurbani together found 3 vegetables in less than 5 minutes and got our first star.
Then we went to fish small magnetic in a large pool with a magnetic fishing rod. We had to find just 1 fish but I found 10 in a minute. We both got our star printed.

I then ate a Vada Pav from Goli Vada Pav’s stall. We then went to throw hoops into long wooden sticks. I got both my hoops into the sticks easily.
We then went to World Food Journey’s stall where there were pastas and pizzas. We bought a big slice of Barbeque Chicken Pizza and shared it among ourselves. We then went near the stage where they were teaching how to make different things in different sessions. The one which was ongoing at the time was how to make donuts. The next one was about Pizzas with Chef Saransh Goila so I registered myself for it. We then went under the Kahani Tree. We first played a game there named “I sent a letter to my father, but on the way I dropped it. Someone picked it up and put it in his pocket. In this a person is first chosen. He/she will run around the circle and put a piece of cloth behind anyone and that person would have to catch the one who threw it and catch him before he takes a full circle and sits down at the place. If he/she is unable to catch the first person then he becomes the denner and it goes on. Then the storyteller told us some Tenali Raman’s stories.

Then because there were still 10 minutes left for the pizza session I tried out a hoverboard which is a base to keep your legs on with a wheel on each side and if you pointed your toes forward it would move forward and vice versa for back.
Then I sat down for the pizza session. Then came chef Saransh Goila who is India’s youngest celebrity chef. He also stars on Food Food channel. He first told us what basically a pizza is and how it can be made healthy. He then told us how to roll dough perfectly and make a base. He then left us free and we could add any sauce we liked of the three – nutella, Tomato sauce and Pesto. I chose tomato sauce to make a basic pizza.

Then in toppings, I added Corn, Basil, onions, sundried tomatoes and a whole lot of cheese. Then they kept my pizza in the air fryer and in 5 minutes it was ready. The chef tasted everyone’s pizzas turn by turn and he thought my pizza was a very basic and simple one but yet tasty with a really thin crust.

Then he announced the 2 winners for the best pizza. Sadly I was not one of them.

Those 2 children got a hamper with all the sponsor’s products. And everyone got a participation certificate. It was an exceptionally great experience and I would like to attend such an event again.
